We are currently in the process of updating our excel guides. These guides are created for daily users of excel who are constantly dealing with data, from an end user perspective. As such, these guides are not for expert macro programmers, VBA programmers, etc.
The guides are written in easy to understand language, using easy to follow steps.
Diagrams are provided, so you can be sure you are on the right path to mastering Excel.
We are currently building our database of free to download templates and macros.
This template, shows how powerful macros can be with manipulating data that is always being provided in a usual format. The macro sees information on the Data sheet, copies it, and then manipulates the data into a usuable format. Each month new data is populated on the Data sheet, and the macro does the same formatting to get it into the same usable table as the previous month.

The latest template created allows for a month to month comparison between the chosen month of the current year, the corresponding month from the previous year and budgeted amounts. It uses a combination of vlookup, mapping tables, and referencing for the summary to work. This was built for a request.
